The Importance of Fees for Passive Investors
I've seen a lot of fees that just seem outrageous to me. I think what resonates most most with passive investors, at least the ones that I talk to is one simplicity. Can I understand this without having to hire somebody from MIT or Harvard to actually tell me what this means? If if your gut says yes, then it's probably fair. And if it doesn't, don't just blindly throw the thing into the trash,. ask some questions, why the fee structure deviates from what you believe is market. Because if you don't, that's going to lead to dissension. Yeah. I love it.
