There is a thesis that our system just hasn't worked. The American economy, Western economies last 20 years. And there is an argument that we can only operate under very low real interest rates. Over the period, the variable has been zero. We've been close to zero real rates. In fact, we've been negative real rates. I don't think our modern economy works at such elevated real rates.
