The Disadvantages of Eliminative Materialism

We had spoken in our last session a little bit about eliminative materialism for which I have a great deal of disdain. It's difficult to say that a mental state or a mental entity could be spatially present because of several reasons. Location doesn't seem to play into mental entities in the same way as it does to physical entities. Many neuroscientists of the self-inconsciousness end up adopting a kind of eliminativist approach to mental properties in practice.
