The Housewife Paradox

The housewife paradox is really fascinating also. So for GDP's sake, GDP needs to tell GDP that it's had 3% growth every year. But then huge parts of the economy have never been recorded in GDP. Would adding more care work into the GDP managed economy give us a pathway to maintaining growth but decoupling it from the environment? That's a really, really interesting question. And there's a lot of different answers to that, most of which are dealt with by feminist economists.
