The Scariest Part of No Man's Land
It was a much different process than I'm used to. We had to choose two scripts in a way. And then we did birds' eye views, like schematics of the camera positions that we thought. Then basically the sets were designed around where the camera was going to go. The scariest bit is when you get to open land. Roger was very good about, we've got to talk about no man's land because if we're not careful it could have just been a bunch of mud. But I think that's one of the sequences I'm happiest within the film because you have to both follow them through it.
