The Future of Media

I think it's possible for each person as a consumer of information to make this recalibration that you suggested might be forced upon us. It's actually started for me in my media diet even prior to this new dawn for AI. I've been noticing how often what seems to be an alarming story begins to degrade or at least change under analysis. And so I have found myself to be less reactive to the news and to each new lurid disclosure on any given topic because I just have more of a wait and see attitude. But also worry about what happens when we start getting not just LLMs but large language models, crushing the Turing test in interactions with us online.
