How to Identify the Buying Triggers

The trigger technique is a step by step process to turn customer stories into actual marketing campaigns. You're really listening for four things: what was the trigger event? What led them to begin the buying journey in the first place? You want to know what job were they actually trying to get done? And then of course you want to learn a little bit about their experience, their product,. But not as much time as needs to be spent there from a marketing perspective. They often will come into an interview thinking that that's what you're going to want to talk about and be surprised when you actually want to talk much more about the purchase.
