Colin Rabin: I think it's fascinating that the sibling business where one becomes the writer and the other, the painter. And do you think that sibling relationship manifests in Henry James's case in the short stories? He says we are always trying to work out which of us is a rival or successor for our parents. But he also thinks there can be an element of childlessness in fiction - not having your own children makes you a permanent child.
