For libertarians, property rights are often viewed as the foundational concept in the world. The idea of self ownership is often thought to be the root of libertarian philosophy. But what George pointed out was that it's not clear that even if you're committed toproperty rights in yourself and in your labor, that that gets you to property rights in the land because after all, you didn't make the land.
