The Dismemberment of a Shaman
The theme of the dream is dismemberment. The power animal or some other visionary figure will often eat the initiate or dismember them in some way and then they'll be put back together in a new fashion. At the time there was a conflict with a woman I am interested in. It was really a stressful time for me. And it says that he dealt with it by doing art. After this translating of his personal suffering into this expressive artistic, perhaps symbolic way. So what's unique about shaman versus other kinds of spiritual initiators? What do you think?
