I think there's a sense that retention has some like trickery to it. We did some research recently into our customer retention time windows, and we found that the vast majority of second time purchasers were returning in the first 30 days. Your biggest levers you can pull in terms of retention are things like product quality, customer experience and packaging. You're not going to trick anyone to being a loyal customer by sending them an emal; you're going to win them over in that first experience.
