Is There a Virtue in Enemies?

In some of these great books, like in dostoyevsky and tolstoy, there's a character who becomes envious through the character development. And i think that can happen to any of us if we're not careful. But i do think that yn gerard himself said that envy is the form that memetic desire takes most often in to day's world.
