i feel that the word ancestor has almost fallen out of vogue. And when we do come across it, i recall a show we did with with native american elders. More in indigenous cultures and societies where there is a greater sense of reciprocity with the land. There i find the word resinates more. An ancestor, someone with knowledge and wisdom of a land,. what can be passed on to future generations. Well, that is beautifully put, and i can't improve on it.
