She and Village is one of the biggest fashion companies in the world. Sixtone found that workers were not paid by the hour, but per item of clothing they could make. The employees interviewed described a horrific schedule that included three different shifts throughout the day. Most people within the company were getting paid about $1,500 a month for working 75 hours a week with only one day off a month.
