Timothy Stanley's new book, "Common Grace," is about recognizing god's common grace in an unsettled world. He says he feels a tension of wanting to believe those things but not seeing evidence of gods being involved at the moment. And so maybe my expectations of how god acts need to be adjusted to fit something called common grace, which is his more subtle ways ofinter in the worldthat's good.
