In his new book, The Second Law of Thermodynamics, philosopher Andrew Keen explains why we deny the second law of thermodynamics. Keen: We have a tendency to accelerate entropics by taking what is inevitable that systems break down and in fact produce greater devastation than is necessary. He says physics has a lot to teach philosophers who are just simply interested in these scientific questions.
