Zero Knowledge Technology and Blockchain Privacy

The US Treasury Department released a report on zero knowledge technology. ZK: This is the first time that I saw the government agree, right, to see the government say we can work together here. It's interesting that it could be a crypto native solution for DeFi to be compliant with US money laundering laws. But at the same time, by applying these technologies, you just potentially end up restricting, you know, a lot of people and making the tech not as permissionless as it was supposed to be.
