The LHC Upgrade Is Going to Put Extra Powerful Electromagnets Into the Atlas
The l h c upgrade is going to put extra powerful electromagnets into either side of the atlas. And c m s detectors to squeeze the proton beams even tighter, like focusing a light beam. It'll make the proton pulses even more intense, increasing the number of events they can detect fivefold. During my last visit, i saw where they were trying to develop these new magnets.
