Zelensky frustrated Ukrainian advocates who believed they'd secure to win for Keve by pushing the U.S., Germany, and other electing countries to consent to issue an invitation when conditions are met. The off-ramp here is probably to offer Ukraine, NATO membership, after cramming down a deal brokered by the United States. For more than a year, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has carefully straddled the divide between Russia and the west over the Kremlin's invasion of Ukraine.
