The Image of Purgatory Indulgences
The Council of Trent refers to sins forgiven after mortal sin through confession as a second justification. If you are in Christ and you commit some of these sins we just talked about in 1 Corinthians 3, 11, 2, 15, the wood hay stubble that doesn't cut you off from Christ, but wounds you, well those kinds of wounds can be healed. The rest of the body organically sends healing agents, right, to congratulate the blood and then to heal and so forth. This is the image of purgatory indulgences, the community of saints praying for us on earth because we are still wounded.
