Cuban's need a visa to enter the country. She and her husband left their island on a boat and made their way to surinom. There they crossed to guyana, a tiny country at the northern tip of south america. They then hopped on a bus back south to brazil because they had heard that they could work and make money there. Then they got on more buses, going south again, this time to paragay. From peraguay, they went down to argentina, the southernmost country in continent. And in each place, they would take on odd jobs, doing anything they could in order to save a little bit of money to go back
