Pandemics - What's Happening?
Laurie anderson is a great musician and performance artist that is delicious. Some folks have said they don't want to see any pandemic plays. Others say our artists are the ones to help us understand what we've been through. Do people want that? Will the perspective of living through a real pandemic make for better entertainment about pandemics? Or is the fiction version more interesting? There was just a show at new York theatre workshop called christina wa sweat shop overlord. We ought to put her in the smithsonian. Yes, wong has stopped sewing masks, but she's taken on another burden, that of living witness.
