How to Teach Routine in the Early Years
I want to just go all the way back to elementary school. What are some skills that can be taught in the very early years that can serve as underpinnings for executive function of skills when they are needed later on? I guess I think whatever you can do to add routines and that stop, pause, think, teach students how much time things are going to take as you map things out in your day. Maybe have a set up plan with the teacher, you take a little break. maybe you go to the movement corner or maybe you need to take a lap.
