God's Justice and His Mercy Are Not Opposed to Each Other
In isaiah, we have that vengeance on enemies, that here's god's justice. And then there's this prayer for mercy in 64, oh, that you would tear the heavens and come down. We deserve god's justice, and we are given, out of god's free gift, his mercy. They are completely in line with each other. Because god is justice and he is mercy, and he is not conflicted in himself.
