Avasenna and the Lucia Traditions

The book has three parts, the formative period and the Lucia and later traditions. Each chapter is only about six to ten pages and it's typically focused on one philosopher or one idea. The most illuminating way to divide the book chronologically is a simple division into two periods before Avasenna and after Avasenna. Averroes dies in at 1198.
