The Stormvian NIH Action
The Stormvian NIH action happened in 1990. It wasn't until 1996 that they actually had the drug cocktail giving people living with AIDS a much longer life. The ACTG decided to open up all of their committees. Activists and other people with AIDS were added to the panels. We got voting membership on the executive committee. And we started to reformat and refocus the clinical trials towards HIV-AIDS.
