Simon Park is an instructor in the Department of Urology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He says there are a lot of options for what you can test and how you can collect data, but there are also quite a few barriers to this technology coming into our lives. We're collaborating with NASA because NASA is planning to send people to Mars in the next 10 years. It will take at least seven months to two years just for the space flight. But one of the things that we need to think about is the crew member in the spacecraft will undergo severe work environment which could adversely affect their health. The only thing you can see by transmission is just a snapshot of a person's health status.
