The medical examiner rules her manner of death to be homicide. Since there wasn't any sign of a struggle at her home, police's first thought is that the murderer is most likely someone close to Shannon. Her dad and his buddy never saw her during any of their searches. And so this now brings them to the question of who could have killed her.
