Is There a Good Thing About Mary Curie?

Mary Curie spent her whole life being excluded from the family. Her parents, sister and brother-in-law all had Nobel prizes for science. She's always presented as being on her own as undertaking this sort of vast sieving operation which is rather analogous to being in the kitchen. My reading of the history I have to say Patricia is very different. You know she had a family, she was a loving mother with her. She did other things and she was a great scientist. Not actually how she was.
