The Importance of Wind and Solar Power in Northern Europe
People in general are shocked because they believe and even our politicians believe that if just they fill up the North Sea with wind turbines, you will always have power. But it's clearly not. It's exactly the same as we see in this California example. Sometimes you have power, sometimes you don't and it fluctuates wildly from day to day. And we have no systems that can handle that. These systems that I've sort of outlined here, there are people now calculating for the whole of Northern Europe. What would it look like? We have a climate council Denmark that just issued a report where they try not just to look at Denmark isolated, but also Denmark plus imports and exports from abroad
