How Did It All Begin?
It started off as a badscript, which is probably shocking to a lot of people who are familiar with the source project. It being written in c plus plus. We didn't want to create a d s l for some one to have to learn to querian operating system. sequel was approachable for existing facebook engineers in addition to the security team. So that's kind of how we landed on that. And then again, because of c pu constraints, we chose cplus plus.
