The Importance of Partial Invariance in Depression
The idea that every loading is the same across time, I still find unrealistic. You can only do that when you have strong invariance over time. So in this framework, we have the opportunity to try to understand things from a partial invariance standpoint. And this brings us to hang them all and let God sort them out, right? At the extreme, you can have a 10 indicator latent factor. That might be the equivalent of the Audi A9 turbocharged scale.
