Is It Any Pleasure to the Almighty That Thou Art Righteous?
Job: I want to go face god in a judgment day because i think i'll come off scot free. But eliphaz doesn't think so. He says, in verse five, is not thy wickedness great and thine iniquities infinite? And he has some more specific accusations to give, just like his friend had. In verse nine, thou hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken. Therefore snares are round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee. If you do anything to hurt a widow or an orphan, then i will kill you. So whats ef as due, he urges job to repent.
