What Do You Do With the Bible?

The theme of violence predominates through the Bible because I think ultimately this is the issue the Bible is trying to deal with. It's very interesting that in the days of Noah that lead to the flood, the only sin that is specifically mentioned is violence. And then it seems as if God adopts a new tact and he calls Abraham and we're on a very long slow journey that leads all the way to Jesus. So how do you, that's a big issue I know, but how do you think that through?
