Monitoring the Story Teller's Affects

The goal of these questions is to help the story teller become curious about the internal bodily sensations. The very act of noticing what is happening in their body will go a long way to helping them become regulated. When some one has become numb or shut down, can ask them to just take a minute to feel their feet touching the floor. And conversely, when someone has become frantic or panicky, it can be very helpful to ask them to take a moment to notice their breathing.
