What's at Stake in the African Singularity?
i was just reading paul gilroy's against race again, which is i didn't understand all the first time i read it. I feel like thereis so much there in his sort of striving to a kind of keep the different poles of a attraction together. An indeed, the world that would emerge in the post colonial period. But he repeats a few times this desire to paus it a sort of singularity that actually seems to contrast with the social reality that he's facing.
