i was only one under 70 when i was 18 years old. The problem, to me, is not intergenerational but the fact that we live in a social media universe where people could hide behind anyan of their blogs and have no connection to other people doing things together. And so we have to always learn from each others' mistakes or missteps as they make them. I don't want to pass on knowledge about how you can do something better than what's already been done by someone else. We're all capable of making progress if we put our minds to it.
Featuring Olúfẹ́mi Táíwò, Robin D.G. Kelley, and Ruth Wilson Gilmore on racial capitalism, intergenerational organizing, internationalism, and a whole lot more. Dan's live Dig interview from the Socialism 2022 conference in Chicago.
