Bravo Team - What Kind of Nationalities?
CNN's John Defterios was part of the Bravo team on a mission in eastern Ukraine. He says they were trying to cross a bridge between Kiev and an area known as Erpinn, which is now overrun by pro-Russian rebels. The operation took place at night when it was pitch black - so he ate his wafer from a plastic chair while waiting for our turn. But then rounds started coming in; we couldn't see this drone that was following us. And finally, they're right on top of us: 'We've got them,' said Defterios.
