The Dogmatist and the Relativist
Popper walked the line between dogmatism and postmodernism. Dogmatists say, I can justify something as true - God's written it down. The relativist says it's not possible to get justified truth anywhere. So they both agree that progress isn't possible. Only if you take on a view of conjectural knowledge genuinely do you really endorse the perspective that progress is always possible because you don't have the final truth.
