Russia's Invasion of Georgia

Just two weeks before the Sakashvili government of Georgia launched this massive 24-hour artillery and missile barrage on civilian areas within South Asetia the US had led a 2000-man military exercise inside Georgia. The US was really deeply involved in trying to break off Georgia strongly into a kind of anti-Russia territory. Russia perceived all of this not just the threat that you that Russia that Ukraine on its border I'm sorry that Georgia on its border would join NATO but that the US was actually leading these multinational military exercises there.
