CHAPTER

Rome

i have this little pet theory, that rome is always judged by its collapse because of the just ubiquity of gibbons. That decline or fall go hand in hand with roman empire in the collective consciousness. So we shouldn't judge it by falling. We should judge it for how long it lasted. How could it endure so many truly dreadful peoples and terrible leaders? And i think there's a couple of lessons to be learned from it.
