The Importance of Working Class Conservatism
I didn't immediately warm up to Trumpism. In fact, I was one of the never Trumpers at the Wall Street Journal editorial page when the 2016 election took place. But over time, through a lot of thinking and even reflecting on my own life,. I just wondered how to lower middle class working class people deal with this. And so that pushed me toward embracing this ideal of working class conservatism or populist conservatism. If it worked, it would have been really nice right? It would solve the wounds of economic neoliberalism as described in my book.
