The Importance of Vulnerability in Leadership Development
The most powerful leadership tool you have is your own example. When leaders are willing to put into action specific strategies such as the star acronym it definitely requires vulnerability and connection. Leaders who make themselves vulnerable in this way can experience a certain level of resistance from leaders around them. So my advice to any leader out there who may be working in an organization that does not support or promote this type of leadership development is to understand that what matters most is your own pursuit of excellence.
