I remember receiving the phone call to tell me I'd gotten the part. The ability was clearly already there for you to have made such a mark with that film. You didn't go to drama school, you haven't had formal training. And the fact that you had the confidence to maintain this privacy, that you knew how you were going to approach it and you just did it? That's quite unusual, isn't it? But I come from a family of pretty self-sufficient individuals - surviving realists.
It’s been 25 years since the release of James Cameron’s cult classic, Titanic. The epic movie, which early fans will remember came out on VHS in two parts because it was so long, is now being rereleased in cinemas. But more importantly, James Cameron has finally admitted that Jack might have survived had he been allowed on the now infamous door, and if he were to make this film again today the raft would be a lot smaller.
