Guitar was the prime thing to do if you were going to go be an instrumentalist yeah. at one time we got mad at them and we went and like tried to vandalize the place because they didn't pay tree for a gig that tree did well so we went late at night we had it in our heads that we would pour maple syrup under the door and it would go down and ruin their rug it was so stupid but yeah. It's just crazy because look this is LA in the early 80s there's 10 million guitar players and 10 million guitar teachers and 10 million kids trying to learn to play guitarYeah no one was going to like make hip-hop beats
