The Learning Environment of the Athletes

A lot of these athletes have had broader background than we tend to think. But the other thing is, i think, you're doing kind of the same thing over and over and over in repetition. And so even forfor quite specialized athletes, that can often look like things called variable practice - which translates to everything everyone does. So i think no matter who we are, we need to face this diversity of challenges that forces us to create these more general skills.
