How Much Do People Value Money?
In theory, we could assign some value to every level of wealth and then try to figure out o how to we redistribute the wealth such that this is theoptimal system. But i don't think that' something that in practice, can be done that now, or probably ever, because the real world is just too complicated. The one thing i would encourage you to read or to think about, along these directions,. Is a book called seeing like a state by james scott. Seeing like a state has a really good set of explanations and examples of why these kind of grand schemes often fall apart.
