What Was It Like to Be a Researcher?
When i was in my mid twenties, i wanted to be in the field of research. But i did not want to be a researcher. I wanted to be involved a kind of this nexus of the policy making and the research. So for me, i was extremely curious about how universities interact with society. And because i loved going outside m i picked forestry a a field, ou know, forest research. Because i was very concerned about environmental issues, i thought understanding better how that knowledge was created and how those professionals were trained was really important.
