I think the harder question for you which is like really subjective and depends on your context and your goals. Some people love kind of working in the same framework for a lot of time but other people would be bored out of my mind making a game in the same UI with the same art style or whatever. It's important for me as an artist to show that I can do something totally different or like solve those new problems so I guess a lot of this comes from being honest with yourself what will motivate you at the end of the day.
