How to Host Events in a City

You can have dinners where every friend brings a new person to the dinner. The other thing I would say is go to everything you're invited to. Instead of going one at a time and adding people you like, but not meeting anyone that they know, just hop in. This is what my sister did when she moved to L.A. for the first time. She had a roommate from Craigslist. They go along really well. That's 17 people that she gets along with. Then she's at work and she makes some work friends. And now, all of a sudden, two work friends and one roommate can become 30 friends.
